Trainer Kites (with DVD)

1.5 and 2.5 Trainer kites:

Whether you are coming to kitesurfing, from wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, snowboarding or any of the other extreme sports the first thing you are going to need to know is how to handle a kite- You have to learn to walk before you can fly.

We offer two soft-foil trainer kites sized 1.5m and 2.5m. Either size is perfect for learning your basic kite control and feeling how the kite responds to steering input. Both soft kites are easy to handle, pack down small and are robust enough to survive the misuse that trainer kites are bound to experience. The 1.5m trainer is a simple 2 line foil kite that comes with a wrist safety least suited to the limited amount of power that a kite of this size generates. The larger 2.5m kite develops much more pull, giving you experience closer to that of flying a real inflatable kitesurfing kite and comes with a rear line safety line that will enable you to safely land your trainer in higher winds.

If you have previous experience of flying a kite we recommend that you go straight for the 2.5m trainer. If this is your first kite or you are going to be flying the kite with young children then we recommend the 1.5m as your first choice.

Both kites come soft packed with their own carry bag and instructional DVD to help you start to master your kite control skills before moving onto your first lesson from a professional instructor.
